Central Asia

Central Asia is made up of Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyztan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan. Central Asia is made up of 60% desert which include Karakum and Kyzylkum. Two important rivers in Central Asia are the Amu Daria and Syr Daria. These rivers drain in the Aral Sea which supports most of the regions water. The rivers are also used for irrigation. The whole reigion has hot summers and cool winters. The first humans to live in Central Asia were the Cimmerians and the Scythians.
