Introduction
Welcome Class!
Today you will be doing one of your favorite activities, a WebQuest. For the past few days we have been working with Poetry and working our vocabulary skills with 6 new words. Today's activitiy will be filled with creativity and fun.
Task
What am I Doing Today?
Remember all those slides we did this week and had to save them? Well....today you are going to put them all together in your first Poetry e-portfolio. The portfolio will need to be on PowerPoint format. No worries, visit the next section for details.
Process
This is How We Do It!
1.Read rubric found in the evaluation section.
2. Open PowerPoint on the computer
3. After selecting new document, on the first slide write your name, date, class, grade, group and title.
4. On the first write all six vocabulary words with it's definition. There's a catch. You must define each word using your own words. By now you should be a pro! You can do this!
5. Use a slide for each topic: Haiku, and Cinquain, Limerick and summarize what each poem is about. Mention atleast two important details of each one. Again, you can't use your notes or the web.
6. Insert your poems into the presentation.
7. Decorate! Be creative and have fun. Any problems raise your hand so I can help you.
