Introduction

Hello, grade 6 explorer friends! Welcome to Gyowon Adventure team. I’m your leader, Eva. 

We have a new mission. We must find out where the treasure is ! Can you help me find the treasure?

Task

(To find the treasure,)You will have to learn the meaning of country and the name of many countries. You will look at each country’s flag, food, and famous places. Then we will figure out where the treasure is.

Process

Day 1: What Is a Country?

What can you see? To find where the treasure is, we have to learn about ‘country’ first. 

Task 1 :

Watch the videos and look at the web pages to learn about the continent and what a country is.

Task 2 : 

Let’s learn about different countries in the world. 

Listen to a song and find out when your country name is being sung. 

Complete the online quiz to check what you learned.

 

 

Day 2: Flags of the World

Did you saw the flags on the school festival last week?  I think we need to know the flags to find out which country we have to go.  The hint says the treasure is in the country whose flag has ‘red’ color.

Task 1 :

Day 5: My Favorite Country

  1. Watch the videos and review the web pages to choose your favorite country.

  2. Use canva to submit a short presentation, drawing, or sentence about your favorite country.

  3. Guess where the treasure is.
