Purpose
People from many cultures celebrate holidays like New Year, Thanksgiving, Chuseok, Diwali, and more. While traditions may look different, they all share joy, family, food, and fun!

Task
Object
First, students will learn what a holiday is.
They will explore what holidays mean to people around the world.
Next, they will discover different kinds of holidays in other countries.
To make it fun, they will watch short clips from animations that show holiday scenes.
Then, students will compare the holidays and make a holiday chart to show the differences.
After that, each team will choose one holiday and plan how to celebrate it.
Finally, teams will present their holiday ideas and run a "Holiday Booth" to share the culture with the class.
