Hello Everyone!

Have you heard about the secrets of animals? There are lots of secrets that you, and also teacher don't know! So this week, we'll find hidden traits of Animals!

Before we start, do you know fox? We learned about it in science class. And in that class, we learned 3 different foxes, and difference based on their habitats. They have different fur colors, weights, and sizes. Then, how about bears? Today, we'll get some clues about differences among polar bear, brown bear, and sun bear in this webquest!

Before we start activities, let's watch videos about foxes and remind the relation with features and habitats.

Do you remember it? Then, let's find the clues about three different bears!

 

Task

You're animal detectives that find the thieving bear.

Why only bear? On the floor, there are bear's footprints! 

I found the suspects. There are three bear called 'Polar Bear', 'Brown Bear', and 'Sun Bear'.

I'll give you research resources about the features of these three bears. Try to write down the features in your detective notes as many as possible, and match with the clue that I will give. The clue is only one for each group and different among all groups, so if you think your group's clue is so hard to find the thieving bear, share with other groups.

    • Fill in the detective notes with:

      • Name

      • Appearance (color, size, body features)

      • Habitat (where it lives in the world)

      • Or some other feature explaining(like drawing the features or sound explaining?)

  • Try to find the clues in the classroom

    • Use your group's hint

    • Share with other group about the clues

    • You can find clues without hints! 

  • Guess the thieving bear!

    • With the clues, guess the thieving bear with your group

    • Present your guess and prove with your group's clues!
