1. YouTube Video
- Have students watch at first a video about nouns. This video will help students identify nouns in a set of words, with answers. on nouns features a spot the noun quiz that includes identifying nouns in a set of words, with answers.

2. Noun Scavenger Hunt:
- Hide objects around the classroom.
- Have students look for these objects.
- Have students identify if they are a person, place, thing, or an animal.
3. Noun Online Game
- Provide a tablet for each student.
- Have each student play the game by entering the following link.

Process
- Have children watch a video in YouTube about nouns twice. The first time without stopping the video and the second time with pausing the video to explain the lesson.
- After the video, tell children that a naming word is a noun. A noun names a person, place, thing, or an animal. Display the following sentences: The bus stops. The drill is noisy. Tell children that bus and drill are nouns. Explain that every sentence has a least one noun. To illustrate that a noun is a person, place, thing, or an animal, have each child name a noun they see in the classroom.
- Have partners orally generate sentences with nouns. Partners can take turns identifying the noun in each sentence.
- After the explanation, have students play Scavenger Hunt where they have to look for objects and identify the noun of each object as a person, place, thing, or an animal.
- At the end, have students play an online game on the tablets about identifying nouns as a person, place, thing, or an animal.

- Students will write a letter to a friend or family member, incorporating the following:
- 2 nouns as a person
- 1 noun as a place
- 2 nouns as a thing
- 1 noun as an animal
- Students will also create a list of each noun they used, specifying the type of noun (e.g., person, place, thing, or an animal).
Conclusion
In summary, the lesson plan will be about teaching nouns (person, place, thing, or animal) for students in Grade 1. During this lesson, students will be engaged by working as partners and using technology (tablet) to apply what they learned about the lesson.
