Did you know that some of the most amazing marine animals in the Philippines like the dugong, green sea turtle, and whale shark are endangered? Pollution, overfishing, habitat loss, and human activities are putting their lives at risk.
In this WebQuest, you’ll become marine conservation advocates. Your mission is to learn about these threatened species and help protect them by creating a digital campaign that spreads awareness in your school and community.
Task
Your group will research one or two endangered marine species found in the Philippines. Then, you’ll create a campaign to teach others how and why we should protect these animals. Your final output can be anything creative and informative such as poster, infographic, short video, or slideshow or. You’ll also present your campaign to the class and post it to your facebook account.
Your campaign should answer these key questions:
