If additional time is available, the lesson can be extended across multiple class sessions to allow for deeper engagement and reflection. This webquest should take about 45-60 minutes.

Purpose:

This WebQuest is designed to help students understand how social and emotional health plays a key role in physical education. Through engaging activities, students will explore teamwork, perseverance, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation as they participate in physical exercises and cooperative tasks. They will analyze real-world examples of athletes who demonstrate strong social-emotional skills and reflect on their own experiences in physical education.

How will students be graded on their work?
