A Look at Perspective: Civil Rights

Introduction

Welcome to your Civil Rights WebQuest. Here you will have the opportunity to learn more about the Civil Rights Movement and key people who were involved. You will conduct research and create a newspaper to publish your findings. You will understand the importance of perspective and how it plays a key role in conflict.

Task

You are a reporter for a newspaper. You're job is to conduct reserach on an event and person of the Civil Rights Movement.

5. In the first text box type a name for your newspaper

6. In the second text box type your name

7. In the third text box type your homebase teacher

8. You have 4 blank article boxes. One box needs to contain information about the Civils Rights Movement. What is the background? Why is it important? In another text box you need to write your article about the 1st topic. In another text box you need write your 2nd topic article. In your last text box you need to write a response to the following question: Why is perspective important when looking at the conflict of the Civil Rights Movement.
