Welcome to your World History class  WEBQUEST!!! In this WebQuest students will research the collapse of the Roman Empire on the internet and answer questions on the major aspects that caused this event. You will explore the Roman Empire from all different views using many different resources.

You are to do research on why and how Poor leadership, a failing economy, and attacks by Germanic tribes weakened the Roman Empire. You will develop a concept map to organize all of your research findings. The second assessment will be a detailed research paper on the topic. The last assignment will be a creative group PowerPoint which will be presented in front of the class.

Research and Concept Map

Your first task for this assignment is to research the causes of the fall of the Roman Empire. You will need to gather as much information as you can about each of them in order to complete all of your tasks.  Use the following information to help guide you through the research. You have three days to complete your research and to develop a concept map to organize all of your research findings.  Your concept map will be graded and will help you in developing your other assignments. Your second task will be to organize this information into a 3-5 page research paper. This research paper will be in MLA format. The below link is to a concept map example.
