Introduction
This webquest discusses the risks of teen pregnancy and attempts to make the students see the topic from another perspective.
The phone rings. It is you best friend since you were kids, Suzie, calling frantically to tell you some urgent news. Though it is hard to understand her at first, you finally get her to settle down enough to where you can comprehend what she is trying to convey. She starts to talk about the party that you and her went to last night. You were both having a really good time, doing things that you probably should not have been doing, like drinking while under the legal age. You vaguely remeber what you were doing last night, so to recall what the person you showed up with was doing is far from your mind.Your friend starts to talk about a guy that she met at the party. She cannot recall his name or even a description of him. She says she cannot remember much after drinking her first beer of the night. She woke up in a strangers bedroom with the biggest headache she has ever had in her life. Suzie has a feeling that the nice guy she thought she met last night may have slipped something into her drink. Utterly lost in a pool of thoughts, she asks you what she should do.
After listening to this horrible story, what do you tell Suzie to do? Was she raped? Were they safe? What are the possible dangers of the night's events?

Conclusion

After learning and considering her options, Suzie will have to come to a decision. No one else can make it for her. The facts about pregnancy, HIV/AIDS and STIs, and the different options of aborting, adoption, or keeping the baby have allowed her to make this life changing decision. Thanks to you, Suzie now knows about the the different STIs and how to prevent contracting them. Thanks to her parents, she is now able to see all the options when it comes to what to do with the child. And thanks to her doctor, Suzie has now had a crash course in body changes that occur with pregnancy, child developmental stages, and how to secure her child's health. Through this colaboration Suzie will make the right choice for her, being more cautious in the future. Hopefully you can learn from your friends mistakes and see the areas that you struggle with.
